Is there anyone who managed to install the Panda3D SDK on Ubuntu 13.04 Raring Ringtail?
I tried using the deb packages from the download but I get a dependency error: libopencv-highgui2.3. I have 2.4 installed and it’s not possible to revert to the older version.
Is there any workaround to this?

Thanks. Building from source seems a bit daunting to me since I’m just starting out with linux, that’s why I was hoping for a simle deb install. I’ll try to get it working like that then.

Yes, compiling isn’t easy. Because of that, I compiled it for everyone here. Just download it and install as the official builds. If you don’t require libRocket, you don’t have to think about anything special.

I get a dependency error for libbullet2.8

Edit: Nevermind, after installing librocket (I dunno if that helped) it worked from the 13.10 link in the sticky Panda3D downloads for several distros
