Record sounds from a mic

Hey, does panda have a to record sounds from a mic or a python way? I’m also looking into saving the sounds in .ogg to make them as small as I can to send them over the net to be played (aka voice chat).

Do you happen to know how to save it as a .ogg? (Or I dont see it in the reference)

It might not be possible to do it with Panda3D’s standard modules. You might want to look at PyMedia, found here. Or maybe all python music libaries interest you, click here
