Question about the functionality of panda 3d

Hey everyone,

I’m hoping to create a game and I’m doing research on game engines to find the one that would match my goals as closely as possible. Specifically, I need to be able to render dynamic 2d graphics to a texture during gameplay. For instance, a computer screen inside a game that was interactive. Is this possible with panda3d using the python API? Or if not would it be possible otherwise in a way that wouldn’t require major changes to the engine?

Thank you for your time,

This is very simple to do in Panda and is covered by the Teapot on TV sample that comes with Panda, although you will probably want to have an orthographic lens on your secondary scene instead of a perspective camera lens.

Sweet, an example even. Thank you very much for taking the time to answer my question.

Thanks Zero, just what I was looking for!
