Over the last year it has become quite clear that the installation procedure documented by the CMU team and the Disney developers is not workable for linux developers and users. I invested 3 weekends with the Lindows 4.5 distro, Redhat 9 distro and now the Mandrake 10 distro. All failed in different and quite bizzare ways — which I will document in glorious detail in another post.
I would like to get feedback from the user community for support for a linux rpm posting. My preference it to get the Mandrake 10 distro up first.
