Panda3D Installer for Ubuntu 9.10

Hi community,
I’d like to install Panda3d on Ubuntu 9.10 but there is no installer
for Ubuntu Karmic Koala in the section “Panda3D Installer for Linux” yet.
Is it possible to use the one for Jaunty Jackalope instead?
Im quite new to Linux and Panda3d, what is the best way to install Panda3d in combination with Python?

Yes, you can use the download for Jaunty. The upcoming release of Panda3D will have a Karmic download as well.
