Am I correct that Panda3D is not able to render using Apple’s Metal engine? All I could find is that the configuration variable load-display “Specifies which graphics GSG to use for rendering (OpenGL, Direct3D 8/9 or TinyPanda software rendering)”. I don’t know what GSG stands for, but it seems like this is where Metal ought to be. Since OpenGL is deprecated on macOS, a renderer that depends on OpenGL would not be a good choice for macOS.
