No graphics pipe available

I just installed Panda on my windows XP machine with Nvidia Quadro4 500 GoGL graphicd card. I have tried OGL and Direct X for rendering using:

load-display pandagl
load-display pandadx8

but I keep getting the following error

Know pipe types:
(all display modules loaded.)
No graphics pipe is available! Check your Configrc!

I reinstalled in the to the default folder and it seem to work. So it must be path related problem.
