In my project I am modelling chemical reactions within a virtual environment using panda. When magnesium ribbon reacts with oxygen I want a super bright light to appear (at a point) The light must almost be too bright to look at hence when looking at it I would like the screen to be almost completely white.
How would I go about doing this?
The most natural way to solve this is only using HDR shader. Some ppl have developed it, but yet the code haven’t exposed for us. May be you can create your own ?
Ill look into it but i fear itl be above my level. Are there any other ways? Ways for example within panda?
You can just create an ordinary light (for instance, a DirectionalLight or a PointLight) and let its brightness go above 1.0. It will clamp at white.
