today my ubuntu asked me to upgrade the panda runtime but this time there was a new package dependence addition I ain’t get why it is there: mpich libraries
can somebody explain me what is good for in the panda runtime?
well, it’s a high performance message passing library, so whatever it is it can only be a good thing
wow I thought today’s update was again for the panda runtime but now that you point that out I watched closely and saw it is the brand new SDK!!! well I guess will be an explanation somewhere in the new reference manual about this library and how’s used by the engine
I have never heard of mpich before, and I can assure you that I did not intentionally create a dependency. What is the exact name of the dependent package in the Ubuntu repository?
here:
mpich is a dependency of fftw2.
you’re right treeform, thankyou
