I’m very new to Panda but so far I’m liking it a lot. I have been looking around for an MD2 model to egg converter but so far have been unsucessful in finding one. I was wondering if anyone else knows of such a converter? Otherwise I’m going to roll my own and contribute to the Panda3d project, but I’d first like to know if someone has already done this.
the biggest problem is that MD2 is animatoin based while egg is joint based. I am not sure how it will convert. That said MD2 file format itself is not complex you can write a reader for it and and maybe even an player using GeomReWriter.
