On the main page, there’s a button in the very bottom called “Sponsors”. I thought it was for some corporate sponsors, but seems like it’s for anyone to contribute, an Open Collective link.
Wouldn’t it be better to move it from the “About Panda3d” headline to “Community”, and rename it to “Financial support” to make it clearer anyone can contribute?
I remember a discussion about using Open Collective to support Panda3D few years ago, but I didn’t know it was still used and actually only found out about it from github where it’s better advertised with a clickable icon rather than less descriptive text. I imagine there’s other people like me who were in this situation.
