Is there yet a command line tool to convert Max files to Egg

Hi

Is there a new command line tool to convert a Max file to an Egg file?

I’m learning panda and I would like to try it out on some free 3d models on the net - most of which are in the Max format. But I don’t have the MAX software. So if I there was a new command line tool that would be great.

I think there is no commandline tool to convert .3ds to egg/bam the only way to convert is to use the exporter for 3DS-Max
