Is it possible to install panda3d without administrator privilege? I am using Fedora 13.
Hi, welcome to the forums!
You could compile Panda3D and run it directly from the build directory, if you configure the LD_LIBRARY_PATH variable to point it to the built/lib and PATH to point to built/bin, then you can run it no problem.
If the required compilation tools aren’t installed, you’d need to have a build made by someone else, and extract the RPM to your home directory. Unfortunately, the builds offered by our build bot are for Fedora 14. I could enable a Fedora 13 builder, though.
