No, but an upgrade of the forum software is planned.
+1 for this request. I often recieve emails about responses on my smartphone and I always want to see the response immediately.
Speaking of email notifications, it would be cool to see the actual response in email instead of a web link. Facebook does that and even pushes it further in that you can reply per email.
