Fmod initialization failure.

Hello !

I just installed the Panda3d Ubuntu package.
When I run the greating card example I get

:audio(error): Fmod initialization failure.
:audio(error): Fmod initialization failure.

I copied the fmod-libs to /usr/lib and /usr/local/lib
(newest version and older version)

Phooey. I never actually tested the fmod stuff. I built the ubuntu package under vmware, and I never configured a virtual sound card. I wonder what’s up with that?

I’ll take a look at it sometime in the next few weeks. Things are a bit hectic here.

Hello Josh !

I have switched to another distro, bexause there were too
many issues with Ubuntu in general.
I would be glad if u could reply in the new thread I just started.
