I made the changes and recompressed the files as a zip, but when I try to install the add-on, the same message appears above and I cant find the add-on.
Hey yeah, thats the modification Im talking about. So if cant re-install for some reason. (I think the plugin is missing one of the blender hooks for unregistering, ill fixt that soon) Go to the folder its in and make the change to the file right there, no other work needed.

/home/csevier/.config/blender/<your_version>/scripts/addons
The addons might be overrider one another? You can just delete the folder in the addons that are broken. I keep trying to get the fix pulled into to master asap. If I cant, ill just start suggesting my fork instead.
Oh hey @Richard , maxwell actually pulled in the fix. So you can just get the new master of his yabbee. Cheers.

Yeah, hey sorry the data pipeline is in the state its in at the moment. Were in a phase where not everyone uses eggs and not everyone uses gltf. Well get there though. Im working on the bringing the egg stuff up to date because others are working diligently on gltf.
