I’m struggling to make my water ‘plane’ visible from below it’s z height. It’s currently visible from above:
But not from below…
I’m using a water egg from a tutorial I found here: http://www.mygamefast.com/volume1/issue4/5/
And I’m loading it like so:
self.water = self.loader.loadModel(‘square.egg’)
self.water.setSx(self.worldsize4)
self.water.setSy(self.worldsize4)
self.water.setPos(self.worldsize/2,self.worldsize/2,100.15) # sea level
self.water.setTransparency(TransparencyAttrib.MAlpha)
newTS = TextureStage(‘1’)
self.water.setTexture(newTS,self.loader.loadTexture(‘water2.png’))
self.water.setTexScale(newTS,100)
self.water.reparentTo(self.render)
LerpTexOffsetInterval(self.water,100,(1,0),(0,0), textureStage=newTS).loop()
