BIZARRE ERROR MESSAGES WHEN STARTING

This occurs every time I try to run this program.

Direct X has been reinstalled with latest version 9

 Would like to see how this program runs in my classroom but unable to  
 even start it after installing.

  Running on P4 1.5GB 3.2GHZ system

 Any ideas what to do to fix this ???

Have you tried running in OpenGL or DirectX9 modes instead of in DirectX8?
