Audio3DManager Class

Is the Audio3DManager class independent from FMOD, OpenAL and that third sound option?

In other words, if you go with a totally different LIB for playing a sound could you still use the Audio3DManager Class?

In theory. In practice, the implementation for 3-D audio isn’t always complete in each of the audio layers, so YMMV.


I guess I better stick with the OpenAL that’s already installed.

Why are they hurting the Tomb Raider series? Laura Croft use to have more “bust a cap” in her, but now she’s all platformer. I played the series when it first started and stuck with it up until like part five, then stopped because of the bad changes. It’s like companies start losing creativity or something. Even if that’s so, stick with what made a game a hit to begin with. A Laura Croft that does nothing but jump and climp now sucks. Baby Girl use to drop bullet holes in them suckers! And often!
