Another newbie.

Hey there.

I just found Panda3D yesterday, and I’m having fun learning Python scripting. I’ve used VisualBasic, BlitzBasic and DarkBasic Classic in the past, so I’m not completely new to programming, but I’m still in the process of learning.

I did the tutorial included in the manual, and used the camera revolution code to make a cubic solar system. The first planet has a circular orbit, the second has a moon, and the third has an eliptical orbit.

I eventually want to make an online submarine game, but that is still a long way off.

Already a nice start. Whenever you experience problems that can’t be solved using the manual, feel free to ask. Give us some time (few minutes till a day or two) to answer. If asked politely, you are supposed to get always one. :slight_smile:

Uh, and welcome to python too… but be warned… its said to make you lazy - the saying is true. :wink: I don’t even WANT to touch any other language since the first day I used python. :smiley:
