accept key on french keyb

Hello,

I got a problem. I am French, and use French keyboard.

I wish to accept key where in lowercase in qwerty, we have 1,2,3,4…
In French, in uppercase, we got 1,2,3,4, but in lowercase, we got &,é,",’,(,-.

I am able to accept &, but when I try to accept é, to catch keydown, I got nothing intercepted.

How can I do?

When I use

messenger.toggleVerbose()

I got no event for é and è. Is it normal?

I can’t help with this problem but it seems to be related to my previous posting:

Unfortunately I couldn’t get a solution for this problem but I did file a bug report for it.
