So, while we have sample applications, we don’t seem to have examples of packaging and distributing them. So, someone, can we take at least one of the sample applications, and make a repeatable packaging and distributing walkthrough, so that anyone can go through to generate installable game from a sample application for Linux/MacOS/Windows, so that:
- In Linux, we result with .deb, .rpm, etc. or at least something what people could just make install
- In MacOS, we result with .dmg
- In Windows an .exe
Actually, neither of the sample applications seem to come with any of the installables (correct me if I’m wrong), or examples how to distribute specific demo applications, but that could be very useful for beginners, showing the complete process of distributing applications created with Panda3D.
