I am having trouble finding any information on the estimated release date for SDK v1.11.
Looking forward to the new Android build option, I’ve tried creating a venv
getting the 1.11 from Latest Builds
and making a very rudimentary app with the tutorial info on building for android
but can’t seem to get it working, Just curious since the ‘blog’ has no posts about the subject
1.11 is getting pretty close as there’s about 30 issues left. It’s going to take a while though as rdb is the one doing most of the work (part time) but feel free to help if any of the issues are in your wheelhouse. As for a estimate rdb would also be the one to ask for how long it may end up taking.
As for android my understanding is that it is very experimental and currently contains some pretty bad bugs (rotating the screen will cause the app to crash). As a stop gap though you could build for the web.
I was just trying to build a empty app, and having trouble with both the android version and even the PC version is giving me a run for my money. Glad to see both are in the pipeline. No rush I just was curious so thank you.
There’s no official release date, just “when it’s ready”. All I can say right now is that it’s not ready yet. It will depend on the time I (and other contributors) have available to contribute.
