Export egg using latest Blender

First of all, I am new to Panda3d, blender & Maya ie the whole animation thing.

So, started following some tutorials online and I decided to use Blender as its open-source. Now, googling also told that chicken doesn’t work with the latest blender (2.59 version running on ArchLinux).

So, what are my options now?
