rComplex

rComplex is a game project that a friend and I started working on only 8 days before before the IGF 2010 entry deadline. Some how, even with such a short time window we made the deadline in time. It all started when my brother and I were coming up with simple game concepts that we thought would be good IGF entries the same night we started the project. 8 days later rComplex was born!

rComplex is a game about a man who’s only goal is to make it out alive. As he makes his attempt to escape he recalls previous events and questions his situation in his thoughts.

sure looks intresting from the pictures. … but the windows binaries wont run here on linux. how about providing some linux/mac download. or even better, a p3d package for the upcoming 1.7.0 version ?

very interesting game! i play many times to success. the graphic and action reminds me another game ‘Hunted Forever’. 8 days to produce such game, rekcah, you did a good job!

linux version please!

I second that request.

thirded

awesome - but too hard for me…

[Warning! Incoming bad english!]
Very good game, addictive at start, but harshy after some playing.
I suggeste you to add some difficulty levels to choice at start.
Very original! Good and interesting use of actor voice.

Nicely done !

Some cons :

  1. the monster’s body is too big, looks odd when it crawls over the bridge, it’s bigger than the bridge
  2. the man’s voice is barely audible, since the music is louder
  3. the player disappears when he slides on the building’s glass facade and reaches the bottom

AHAHA… Man I never heard of hunted forever but Im surprised at how similar it is!

Sorry I havent replied to this thread. I recently went out of town and I’m just no recovering.

I don’t mind making a linux version!

Nice game! I like the visual style, audio and how the voice incorporates the game rules.

I just thought I’d update this thread with some news on rComplex!
