Will Panda be built with Python 2.5 on Windows?

This has been discussed previously, but I was wondering if Panda will be built using Python 2.5 on Windows. It’s hard to make a cross-platform app that uses two different versions of the language (2.5 on Ubunutu vs. 2.4 on Windows). I’d like to use 2.5, since it has better features than 2.4, but these won’t work if I distribute it on Windows. Have the developers been able to solve the pyd vs. dll problem?

It hasn’t been high on our priority list, but we will get to it eventually. We know how to solve it, it’s just a matter of doing it. In the meantime, we have too many other pressing issues to deal with first.
