Texture affecting normals?

Hello
I know how to make a texture affect the normals of an object in blender, but that does not get exported when I use chicken.
Is there anyway to do this using code?
I searched both manual and forum, sorry if its been asked.

You need to use Cg shader with to apply a normal map to your model. There is a tutorial included with panda3D that uses normal maps, but some people have had problems running that. There is an alternative example you can find by searching the forums.

The second link actually provides a method that does not require Cg shaders.

I’m not sure about how to export the actual normal map texture using Chicken.
