Terrain (7+ textures, normal mapping, no custom shaders)

Provided you don’t need to look far and you can live with less then perfect texture quality and you can waste a bit of power on rendering to two buffers and projecting two textures, and You can’t write the simplest shader… here’s a solution for you:


I’ve used 7 textures ‘splashed’ on the terrain for this demo just to show that you can use as many as you like… until your gpu says you can’t.

WSAD to move, mouse3 to start/stop camera rotation.
