We’re wrestling a bit with the particle engine; I’m hoping someone can offer some advice!
We have a particle effect that we’d like to start fully transparent, then as particles travel away from the center, they should fade in (i.e. start with alpha of 0, increase alpha as we go). The problem I’m seeing is that it appears that the particles always spawn with an alpha of 1 on the first frame; I can’t seem to force them to spawn transparently.
Does anyone have any pointers? Overall, I’m really happy with the particle engine; if we can get this issue ironed out, we’re pretty much on track.
