Soft Shadows on Geomip terrain

I am trying out some code that seems to work well that Pro-Soft(RDB) wrote and with some tinkering i was able to get it to work with my game sort of.

Now when i loaded terrain from an egg fole it works fine but I cannot get it work using geomipterrain the light and shadows appear on my Actors but not on the terrain and that is really where i need the shadows the most…

Anyone have any ideas why this wont work on Geomip terrain?? Maybe im missing some important factor.

Just go ever your code again. Both egg loaded terrain and GeoMip map are node paths that can have same fx applied to them.
