Runtime install does nothing

I installed the runtime buildbot build as of 2010/09/12. It’s a 2,7 MB app in Applications, so I assume that’s it. When I just double-click the app or drag a .p3d on it nothing happens.

The console gives this error:

The path to that dylib is there, it’s a 1.6 MB file.
In the past there was a problem with the cache being created @ ./Documents/Library/Caches/Panda3D-1.7.0/cache but that should be long fixed.

Could you clear the log directory in ~/Library/Caches/Panda3D/log, then attempt to start the .p3d file again, and show us any logfiles that appear in that directory?

Hmm, also might be worth trying to completely remove ~/Library/Caches/Panda3D and see what it re-populates there.

Did that. Many of the folders did not re-appear. Only ~/Library/Caches/Panda3D/coreapi/osx_i386/p3d_plugin.dylib did. So also no new log folder.

Did that first. No files or folder re-appeared.
