realtime shadows and heightfield features

Hi there,
I recently discovered this great rendering engine and I started learning it a few of days ago :smiley:
I saw that it currently doesn’t support realtime shadows, and I wanted to know: is there any way to make them using the current features, or will they be implemented in future?

I also saw that with the new version heightfield feature has been implemented. Is it about Dof (Depth of field: camera focus rendering) or is it meant to generate terrain?

Shadows are possible, but difficult. See the screenshots gallery, look at the world called “colossus.”

Heightfields are for terrain.
