can panda3d do boneless animations ?
yes. it’s done using morph targets. panda ships with a ripple.egg file which demonstrates this.
the interface is the same with boned animations tho. each morph-target has a bone, by setting its x-value you controll the morph-targets influence. further information can be found on various threads on this forum.
exporting those from blender using blenders shape-keys is possible.
