Problems while running samples.

Hi,

I just ran the Advanced Shadow Mapping sample from Panda 3D and the message I get is

“Shadow Demo: Video driver reports that depth textures are not supported.”

I am pretty sure Depth textures are supported for Radeon HD 4850.

Also, other samples run with some or the other error when run in DirectX 9 mode.

I have the latest drivers for the card.

Depth textures aren’t currently supported under DirectX 9. You should switch to OpenGL in Config.prc.
