Panda3d.org downtime this saturday

This just came in from the server maintainer over there at CMU:

There’s major construction going on outside our building. As such, they will need to turn the power off to move the powerlines to another location.

So there will be an 8-hour power outage here this Saturday, the 25th, from 8am to 4pm, EDT.

I tried to get hooked up to emergency power, but the network equipment used for the uplink, that I don’t control, isn’t even on emergency power, so it’s a moot point.

This means that panda3d.org will not be reachable during that time. Sorry for the late notice. We tried to push it off to a more convenient date or until we could get a backup plan, but at this point is like ripping off a band-aid; let’s just get it over with.

I remember i couldnt access Panda website one day in summer.Same reason?
