Panda3D and squeak

I read that panda3d used to be binded to squeak via FFI. Do you still have the squeak source code ? I worked on a 3d engine too (ODE, http://q12.org/ode/) and it would help me much if I had the the plugin source code. Thanks !

I don’t think we have that code around any more, sorry about that.

Our approach was to generate C-style interface wrapper functions for the C++ methods, and use the built-in Squeak foreign function calling mechanism to call these functions. That part of it was fairly easy; the tricky part was writing the Squeak code to wrap all these loose function calls back up into objects.
