Panda3D and MinGW

Hi !

I’ve been searching the interwebs for an answer to that question, and I actually found several very different answers. I’m way more confused than I was before searching.

It is at least sure that back in 2009, it was probably impossible to compile a Panda3D application right out of the box. But what about now ?

For some reason (VC not supporting C++11 as well as gcc), I would need to compile Panda3D apps with MinGW. And I’d like to know if it’s going to be painless ?

It hasn’t been attempted yet, as far as I know. I imagine that it would be quite a challenge to do so.
