Panda3D is compatible with VS 2010, but you do need the latest development version of the SDK.

Based on popular demand, we’ve finally switched to Visual C++ 2010. I’ve recompiled almost all of the thirdparty libraries for both 32-bit and 64-bit; my plan is also to start offering experimental 64-bit builds at this point. VC2010 finally ditched WinSxS for the Visual C/C++ Runtime, yay!
