OpenGL bug on Windows

Hi,

On my (admittedly very old) laptop I get the following output when running the greeting card:

It seems like an odd error given that opengl works fine under Java, etc (including with textures)

Everything is fine with directx instead.

Graphics Chip:
Trident Video Accelerator Cyberblade XP Ai1 v6.4022-016L.22ICD

It is using the latest drivers available from Microsoft.

Sure does seem like your drivers are fubar. It may be that there’s something that’s basically working about your drivers enough for some apps to run, but Panda is more aggressive than some apps, and tries to grab all of the OpenGL extensions the driver reports it has. That’s obviously broken in your driver, based on the first warning messages.

That shouldn’t bother Panda per se, but then something in way Panda is creating textures is obviously failing in your driver. There are several different possible ways to create textures in OpenGL, and it must be that the way that Panda is using doesn’t happen to work in your driver, even though the way that Java does it does work.

Not much I can do to debug this from here. Since OpenGL texturing works on pretty much all other hardware, I couldn’t begin to speculate on what it is that your driver doesn’t like.
