The implementations are still about 12 months off. But i feel we can see some cool stuff in the near future. It would not add any significant functionality (its all available now through extensions) ~ but it would provide a cleaner API and i would hope to get a openGL 3.0 version of panda3d when the implementation start to come out.
FINALLY! i thought DirectX 10 was going to kill OpenGL! thankyou gl! hopefully we will see more implementations of it in future video games! that would be awsome for the open community and mac/linux users alike!
