sample.dc is found in version 1.0.5. I think it was removed in version 1.1.0.
I found an old networking tutorial from version 1.0.1 
Can anyone tell me which directory to place the sample.dc in so that ConnectionRepository will find it? There is no mention of a working path for this particular item.

hmmm, I downloaded 1.0.5 and found in the networking tutorial example a shortcut to run the chatroom tut and lo and behold it worked! I’m not a seasoned windows programmer so my best guess would be that it was looking for sample.dc in the working directory. shrug can anyone confirm this?
I can’t confirm this because I run linux, where you find it at /usr/share/panda3d/samples/… but maybe you want to use the search function of your Operating System to search for called “sample.dc”?
