Need help with basic UV mappig

Im using blender to make my 3d models for panda and im making a crosshair that will be placed in front of my ship. I have the image (it has alpha values) i want to place onto a face of a plane in blender as a texture but When i add an image texture it isnt visible on my plane. Does anyone know of something that can help me with this UV mapping, because i will be using it alot in panda :question: Thanks :exclamation:

Asking that at blender should get a solid answer about uvmapping in blender.

in the materials panel, check TexFace once you have unwrapped your model onto a bitmap.
