I’m kinda interested in adding navigation mesh to a project i’m working on. However i’m not really sure how, i’ve seen the collision mesh tag used in roaming ralph and was wondering if i can do that too for a navigation mesh?

what is navigation mesh? Is it a lower poly mesh then the real mesh then does collisions? Might i suggest using raytellers eggOctree on the real mesh. The speed up is enormous - you might not need a special collision mesh.
