Multi Core Support

I am very new to panda3d and I considering using it for an upcoming project.

Running the sample applications though seem to max out the first core. I tried this on a 2 and 4 core machine with the same results. Does Panda3d have multi-core support? I saw some similar posts but they are very old. Is there any recent information on this topic?

We’re actually hoping to get multi-core support enabled in the upcoming 1.8 release. No specific release date, yet, but on a guess I’d say it ought to be within a few weeks.

David, I hope that you’ll have time to patch in the Dx9 stuff for 1.8 as well :slight_smile:
