Lightwave-2-Egg converter problems reading file

Hello,
I am trying to convert to egg from a Lightwave v7.5 lwo file. The converter runs but says it cannot read the lwo file. Does anyone know what version of Lightwave object file is expected?

well panda does support loading lwo files directly, try that.

Panda’s lwo converter is pretty old. I don’t know specifically what version of Lightwave it represents, but the code was originally written in 2001, and hasn’t been heavily updated since then.

AHHH, thanks so much!! We will try that and hope that Panda is not looking for a more recent version of the file format.

The lwo2egg converter uses the same code as the lwo loader. So if one works, the other will too, and vice-versa.
