Is it possible to use the pygame or openal library in panda

I personnaly think Fmod licensing is quite expensive. Is it possible to use panda with the pygame library? And handle the sound with the pygame functions?

Thanks

pygame has been used a few times with Panda3d at CMU. I have personally not used it. Let me see if i can get some documentation out to you based on what other people have done.

Hi, curly. I just found out about panda3d and started to study. Then I hit the breaks when I Fmod. Did you get alpy working well with your project under windows? Is it just a matter of including the aply and openal DLL? If so, I’ll stick with panda3d. I’d rather pay $1000 for a complete game engine than just for Fmod.
