I discovered C#…
- as fast as C++ (to within 20%)
- as easy as Python
Subsequently, the idea of spending significant amount of time on:
- debugging stack/heap crashes in C++
- dealing with Python’s slowness and single-threadedness, and, most significantly:
- spending insane amounts of time glueing the two together …
… became somewhat less inviting 
Anyone ever get any runtime benchmarks with this approach ? Seems very interesting.
