Installing deb on Ubuntu 7.04

Hello!

I know there is a post about how to get Panda working on Ubuntu 7.04, but that is from an upgraded version (6.10 to 7.04 I think).

Anyway, I have tried all the .debs available from this website, including some of the rpms, and converted them to .deb with alien. I have also tried to compile the source, but since I have never done that before, It didn’t work. I would like to know if there is a way to do this, if not, will there be a deb-file for 7.04 soon?

Not a native one -at least not from the devs I guess.

It would still be nice to answer in the other thread because these topics are still connected.
