Hi,
I have downloaded and installed Panda3D-1.7.2 on my computer.
When trying to open a sample program I only obtain a short flash (like command promt is trying to open) and then nothing more.
Being a newbie I would be glad to get some advice or assistance.

Try launching the sample programs from the command-line and show us the error message that appears.

I tried to open with command-line, but the same occurs:
black window opens for a fraction of a second and thereafter nothing happens.
Did I use the correct installation ( Panda3D-1.7.2)?
I really don´t know what I´ve done wrong.

Try this method of running the samples:
panda3d.org/manual/index.ph … ur_Program
And show us any error messages that appear in the command prompt.

You need to do following steps:
press win+r key and type cmd…at cmd interface typecd C:\Panda3D-1.6.2\mystuff\ after that type ppython myscript.py and then press enter,it will run panda 3D.
