input asia character

I read drwr’s post about Panda window type. Drwr say that Panda is naively creating an ANSI window. I use DirectEntry, and it could not receive asia character. I think ANSI window is its reason, but I don’t fix it.
How do I fix it? Or input asia character in DirectEntry.

by the way, I can set “initialText” in asia character, and it display all right.

hm. i am not sure bout asia characters. in the past i had simmilar issues with cyrillic ones. they worked fine on linux, but on windows i had the same problem as you.

drwr explained it to me why this was the case but i can no longer remember. so i’m sorry i can’t help you solve the issue. it was sorta OS related tho.
